فتاة من قرية جليلية في شمال فلسطين، بقيت وحيدة مع والديها بعد فقدان أخيها خلال الخدمة الالزامية المفروضة عليهم سنة 1956 .  يطغى ألم الفقدان ويُخَلّد الأخ في طقس معتاد يشترك فيه أهل القرية.

ما الذي يحدث عندما تنضم عائلتها إلى منتدى العائلات الثكلى؟

تشكل المسرحيّة حوارًا بين الفقدان الشخصيّ والعام لهذه الفتاة، وتواجه صراع الهويّة والانتماء. 

 

 

A young woman from a small village in the galilee, northern Palestine, remained the only child to her parents after her brother’s death during compulsory military service they’re subject to since 1956.

Grief dominates her, while her brother’s memory is perpetuated through a ritual in which the villagers are participating.

What happens when her family joins the organization for bereaved families?

This play is a conversation between the personal and the collective loss, where this young woman face the conflict of identity and belonging.
